Terrific Two’s (Two-Year-Old Class)
The Two-Year-Old Class has a soothing environment with bright colored walls.
Menus are planned out and posted on the Parent Bulletin Board. A listing is posted of a parent’s religious or dietary restrictions.
Learning Centers are defined as, Reading and Writing, Book, Art, Block, Dramatic, Music, Sand and Water, and Math Science and Nature.
There is an area that is designated for changing pull-ups and/or underwear.
Toilet training begins when the child shows signs of physical control and/or awareness of bodily functions. At that time, Renee’s Kid’s Worlds Teachers begin to work with parents/guardians to begin and maintain toilet training.
The children are encouraged to take a nap and/or rest after lunch time. Cots and blankets are set out during this time.
The curriculum is designed for growth and development through the application of developmentally appropriate practices.
